As the title says - who's braving the wind? I've been imaging for over an hour now, the wind makes interesting guiding!

Are you happy with the images Martin? I've tried before in less wind and it was touch and go whether it was worth it, though I guess use as short a focal length as possible???

We lost two fence panels in the wind today. It does make me think, going out in strong wind might not be the best idea! Imagine it, struck down by a fence panel while at the scope.

Thick cloud and rain down in south Essex, so probably no telescope action for me tonight. apparently Tuesday will be good for the south east, well according to the MET office anyways. So take that as you will.

Cloud cloud and more cloud on the London/ Essex borders and no sign of it clearing all night.

Spent most of the evening hacksawing bits of metal in my ongoing project to adapt my Revelation 20x100 binoculars to take different eyepieces. I think it may eventually actually work!

I have found that messing around with equipment calms me down and stops me getting too annoyed with the cloud!
