Vapouriser 13
I am thinking of buying a Baader clickstop zoom eyepiece. Seems. To be extremely good value. Wonder if they are that good for the money. Thanks

brianb 24
The performance is a long way short of similarly priced non-zoom EPs. Personally I'd rather have the "inconvenience" of having to change eyepieces and getting better views than a zoom will ever deliver. Zooms would be better if (a) the field of view didn't tend to contract as the focal length increases and ( they actually kept the same focus throughout the zoom range ... but no zoom eyepiece I've seen has ever had a field of view as large as a "super plossl" type when at its longest setting, and every zoom eyepiece I've seen has needed to be refocused every time the zoom rin is touched. For casual use with low end equipment, they may be OK.
