First bash at Orion with Hyperstar

I've not really used my C8 Hyperstar too much but am trying now Orion is up. Here's my first go at it.

I am actually quite impressed with what the Hyperstar can do. It's not as good as a dedicated widefield system but for thr price it does a fair job. I am struggling a bit with the collimation hence some of the funny star shapes but it's better than I thought.

Looks great! I bought a c8 in october 2010 and it came with the hyperstar fitting, I've not had a go with it yet. Did you have to buy an adaptor?Did you use a camera?

My C8 is an old orange tube one so I did have to buy an adaptor. Bit scary pulling apart the corrector holder as it's glued on but it's all fine now.
