Cone Area DSLR

Hi all

Had a go at the Cone nebula area last night.

This is 20minx9 iso 800(3hrs), darks and flats applied.

It was between 8 and 6 degrees, so lots of noise with 20min subs, hopefully better next time.

Thanks for looking, all cc welcome.

I like that - very crisp image. By the way do you find the Lifecam good for guiding with the ST80? - I will be attempting to use the same set-up when I get round to modding the lifecam. (Actually exactly the same except for my 200P instead of your APO.)

Thanks BB.

The Lifecam has done me well. Make sure you use it at max resolution. I also use a 0.5x focal reducer. Sometimes you have to move the guidescope to get a decent guidestar because of the small chip size. Otherwise, works perfectly. HTH

Cheers
