In my teens I spent a lot of time observing the skies, doing meteor counts etc - all naked eye stuff. Then it all faded...until now. In my retirement the interest has awakened. I visited the Wycombe Astronomical Society's telescope evening in January and was surprised to find how much technology has advanced with driven scopes, digital imaging and processing etc. I'd love to do some though finances on a pension will prohibit serious kit. Still I'll see what I can do and this site will help loads. :)
