It's currently clear, but quite misty and I can see clouds lurking in the west, I don't expect it to last.

Its clear yes, but the seeing here is really really bad...

We only seem to get good seeing with a full moon, and cant do RGB with that

According to Sat24 theres a load of cloud coming in from the West that will probably get to my house just as I get home from work at half ten.

Now I know who the blame

Got outside all set up, polar aligned, slewed to my first alignment star looked through the eye piece and nothing. Oh must be way out of focus, nope, when I lifted my head after going through the full range of my focuser I couldn't see a thing - fog came out of knowhere

It's been really good here in South East Wales. I've just seen M1, and some other Messiers and the double cluster. Best its been in ages - and not too cold either. Best night in ages.

I "might" get a couple of hours later, going to stop up and wait. Feel a bit guilty about the "clear" night we had a few days ago and didn`t take advantage of!!

Was clear here in Bedfordshire right up until I finshed setting up!! i'm running out of every type of dark to take, maybe 5 mins at ISO 100 will come in handy one day?!
