Barlow Lenses

Could someone please give me some advice regarding the aboove please.

While I'm here in the UK I'm trying to pick up a few items to take home to Turkey, on Ebay at the moment there are numerous Barlow lenses being sold at reasonable prices from what looks like good sellers. I was looking at a Meade 126 x2 barlow. This would be for an ETX 105. On looking at other websites to compare prices it appears that there may be a compatability issue (see the chart here) http://www.warehouseexpress.com/index.asp?astro/eyepieces/meadebarlow.html Is there a big difference between the quote "will work" and "recommended"

Other websites make no mention of this and suggest that the lens will work with the whole range which is confusing !!

The #126 barlow is often recommended for the ETX 90, 105 and 125 because of its compact size (taller barlows look a little 'odd' when fitted to an ETX).

For compact size and quality, there is the Celestron Ultima:

Yes, better than their price suggests.

As with most Russian gear they are a little old fashioned looking compared to most stuff out there now, but IMHO are solidly built and optically excellent for the price. Can heartilly recommend
