exposure time?

You will need a remote control to start/stop the exposure. IR ones work well and allow you to work without touching the camera and introducing vibrations.

You can also control it via PC, and set a series of time exposures all the same length. If you do it manually, use a watch to get the exposures of a similar time for stacking
