nasa moon globe

Got myself the nasa approved moon globe today so thought I would share a few details on it for any one thinking of getting it. Great globe lots of detail and well made comes on a little plastic stand so you can pick it up and have a good look at the moons details and you get a nice little book with it as well. Got mine for 30 quid on ebay reduced because the base was a little damaged normally this one costs about 70 quid so bit of a bargain but if you want a good globe of the moon slightly bigger then a football 12 inches across then this is a good one. Nicely detailed as well with the lunar landing clearly marked. I just cant resist a globe they look so cool on your desk.

I've pondered getting one of these but the £60 tag is little much for me right now. You got a bargain there my friend.

It was a bargain but I really wanted a good sized moon globe and it's really helped me learn more about the moon.

The kids clubbed together a bought me one for Christmas before last (sure beats socks and aftershave). I love it and its just the thing for cloudy nights.

I want one ! I'd turn the lights off and use a torch to simulate the phases. I'd also like a cuddly version to take to bed with me while sucking my thumb - I love the moon ;^>

Advantage of having a "big" birthday this year... lots of opportunity for getting all those little things I've put off buying myself!

A few yrs ago i was given a gift of one of those 3-D jigsaws. It was of the moon. It only took me a couple of hours to complete. Then i broke it up and stored it away. I must dig it out again and make it. Would look nice on my chest of drawers. Not sure but i think it was also a glow in the dark model.
