Very Short Jupiter viewing 26 Jan '11

Just been out having a look at Jupiter, straight out with 25mm EP (no cooldown as I am very impatient!!) and I got a very nice sharp view seeing faint banding. Changed to the 10mm EP and the detail was really good, my best view yet of this gas giant. Then ........................................... the rain started !%?@&^#. Viewing terminated:mad:, glad I didn't put the scope out to cool down only to come out to a wet instrument. Good while it lasted though and a bit more viewing experience:D. The Mak 102 was a great buy for a Grab n Go.

Likewise...............lol.... got focused on a 20mm went indoors to get a 10mmm came out and it was cloudy...hehe.....grab and go is where its at...
