Hi all, My name is Rik 30, from Derby. Both my brother and I have Stargazing as one of our hobbies although he has been doing it for over 10 years and I am quite new to it. I started out with a cheap 4" reflector scope from Aldi which was OK to start with to see if I could get into it. Now I'm hoping to purchase a Skywatcher 10" Dobsonian Autotracking scope at the end of this week (payday lol). My other hobbies include Aikido, model making and DIY. Im also hoping to learn to fly this year. See you out there !

Hi Rik and welcome to the forum.

I have just said hello to another new guy who signed himself in today called Jon who has already made the transition from a 4" to a 10" scope - I'm not sure, but I think he sees it as an improvement :):D
