some seem to have no problems, some do.

I find there's lot's of play in the gears - so if for example you slew left then press the right button, it can take - depending on the slew speed - quite a few seconds for the gears to wind in all the slack before the scope keeps moving.

So, make sure you follow the instructions and approach the object heading right and up (of object is ni the east) or right and down (if in the left). Also do the final approach with tracking on. I find that helps.

Tracking at high power isnt great for me, I have to fine tune often to keep the object in the eyepiece, but at low powere it's ok.

I assume you've set your latitude when you furst used the scope, then for each session levelled the base, pointed north and levelled the tube then turned the scope off/on
