A few days ago i stated on a thread somewhere that if the Orion Nebula was as close to us as the Sun that the nebula would fill our whole sky day and night and that it would be the only visible object in the sky besides the Sun.

I would like to correct this and say that what i meant to say was that if the Orion nebula was as close to us as the nearest star (not including our Sun), that it would fill the whole sky during the day and night.
