I'm just back from my first Wolverhampton Astronomical Society meeting, and all I can say is 'WOW'!

There must have been about forty people there, everyone was friendly, and I got to chat to some really knowledgeable folk.

I kept putting off going in the past because it is a real pain to get to using public transport, but now I've finally made the effort I am mad with myself for not going before. If you have a local astronomical society, do go along and meet them. I'm glad I did

Id be looking to go to one in manchester but im not sure when or where any are has anyone got any idea.
