Here is my first image with my WO66, with my Atik 314L

First time I have done widefield imaging and although there was light cloud and strong moonlight I think the image came out rather well (for me anyway)

26 subs of 120 seconds unguided, stacked in Maxim and tweaked in PS CS5

Hi, great image. Amazing when seeing this visually but only when seeing images like this do we realize the full extent of this wonderful object. Thanks for sharing.

Shaunster, no I didnt, I was at the local observatory and shortly after setting up we had so many people turn up I spent most of the night chatting and showing people around.

I hope to do some LRGB images next time, and I will ensure I do some short subs to try to define the trapezium a little.

It was the first time I have been able to do such long subs so I just let it continue, by the time I thought of short subs we were all packing up as it was freeeeeezzzzzziiiiingggggg!!!.
