I often listen to my ipod, or use my ipad to help me find things, and occasionally it gets very damp outside, and I was wondering if I am ruining my electronics because of the dew or should I put them in a sandwich bag or something?

Check the instructions / manual to see if it is "water resistant".

Personally I would put the iPod in a pocket away from the dew.

If it's in your pocket or inside a jacket most of the time it should be fine. However, putting it down on the lawn is a bad idea!

On the occasions I use my Itouch outside I keep it in my pocket.

I have to say I was impressed with the Synscan which seemed to perform well even after sitting in my shed in sub-zero temperatures for several week during the recent cold snap.

Sadly I once virtually ruined a laptop when it got caught outside in a sudden shower that appeared out of nowhere so you can't be too careful!

My ipod is usually in my pocket, so i wont worry now, no it never gets on the grass unless i have a clumsy moment
