Sidereal rates with PHD, QHY5 and HEQ5 what rate is best and why?

Hi, I have been dabbling in astrophotography and have had reasonable success on my second attempt at guiding using a QHY5 through PHD to a HEQ5 mount. My exposures are 10 minutes. Looking very closely at the images shows a small amount of movement in the stars.

My question is what rates should I be using? I currently have sidereal set to 0.75 and PHD (I think is a set to 1 second) in hindsight I could increase the PHD to a faster exposure.

Could you let me know your thoughts on this and would would be a better configuration.

I am new to all this, and still trying to understand the why's, do's and don'ts of the process.

Regards

David
