Stellarium & Webcam on a Netbook

I put xp pro in my Asus 701 today via USB, all programmes work a treat including Stellarium. Took a while to install but was worth it

Both webcam and Stellarium are fine on my Tesco eMachine 250 and Samsung NC10.

Ditto - my NC10 does fine with Stellarium, too.

Hello, I just thought I'd bring this to the top again, can anyone tell me if they are running the latest Stellarium attached to a scope on a NETBOOK with any success, if so which one you have? I'm thinking of going the Eqmod/Stellarium path to drive my HEQ5 Synscan, and I'm trying to avoid having to buy and drag outside a heavy expensive power hungry laptop and netbooks seem to be cheap as chips these days.

In an ideal world I'd use my iPad, but my latest intel says I'd need to run SkySafari through a Synscan handset (which I don't have and am trying to avoid the cost of!). If anyone has any newer info I'd love to hear it.
