M45 with new focal reducer

1st outing for my new ASTRO-PHYSICS focal reducer. Just a little name drop there - great looking piece of gear that actually costs less than the Celestron version. It's 0.67 and was used with my ED80 although would have been better with my ZS66 for this target. Windy so had to scrap quite a few subs. Used about 50x1min. CLS filter so the blue is a fiddle. Bit too tight to frame properly but otherwise pretty pleased.

Thank-you everyone. It is a nice easy target. The nebulosity only shows itself properly with use of curves and levels or DDP.

Your edit really enhances the contrast in the nebulosity Steve. It does loose the background glow though. Think I prefer your version
