After some 8 weeks with clouds, plenty of snow and a bit of flooding, there was a some clear sky at last! I managed to record some videos before the fog closed in yet again.

Equipment:

Skywatcher 6" Mak

Canon EOS 1000D with EOS Movie Record

1700 frames processed with AviStack, Fitswork, and Gimp.

The picture shows Vallis Schroter, a 6-10 km wide rille structure in the Aristarchus Region.

I didn´t know 1000D had MOVIE RECORD

Out of the box, the 1000D can't record videos, but you can do it with a program called EOS Movie Record. There's some more information on this in this thread:
