bonefish Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Ok, don't spank me too hard, but the more i look on here the more i am getting hooked.The question is i have a sky watcher 130 and a Panasonic DMC FZ-7 camera, how do i connect them together to have ago at taking some piccies of the moon etc. I think i have found the correct bit i need on a auction site, but not 100% sure, so any thoughts would be helpfull.The product description listed is as follows-52mm Digital Camera Telescope Adapter - 1.25 inches fit This device is made to connect a camera to a standard 1.25 inches eyepiece.One end is for a standard 1.25 inches eyepiece , And the other end is for the digital camera or extension tube that have 52mm thread size .Approx external diameter of eyepiece holder is 40mm ,2.5mm thick and overall length is 27mmm . rowan46 Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 are you sure its a 52mm I just googled and it came up as 55mm be that as it may I use something similar sounding for my fuji it does work but causes some vignetting unless its zoomed out, mine is a manual zoom and I'm not sure a motorised Zoom would take the weight of the camera Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
