Got it on DVD, is the best thing I've ever watched, very inspiring, what really got me into Astronomy, so would recommend anyone and everyone to watch it.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll set the Sky+ up for this also!! I must have about 40 hours of various space / astronomy programmes to watch now - more than enough to see out all the cloudy nigths I'm guaranteed!!

Hi Alan, thanks for the tip on this excellent series, I used to have it on VHS, (yes, I'm that old), really worth watching if you have not seen it before. :)

I see they changed the narrator from Samuel West, I'm guessing the logic behind it is to update the narrition from what we knew then to what we know now? The content all seems the same.
