carpman
Hello all I'll get straight to the point i have got the Skysafari lite app (amongst others) on my Iphone , when checking on the polaris info it tells me that polaris is in transit 19:10 today ! but when i checked with polar finder it says 22:20 , which is right ?????I believe polar finder because most peeps use this for setting their scope/s up. GazOC
I'd guess the movement of the star is that small that there is a lot of "wriggle room" (or "rounding errors" if we want to give it a more impressive sounding tag) when calculating the transit of Polaris.
