Toucam and Explorer 200

The combination of Toucam Pro11,(with nose piece)and Meade ETX 90EC(in conjuction withK3CCD,,and Registax) works well, I want to use the same set-up with my Explorer 200,but the weather won't let me experiment,can anyone tell me if I can expect any problems given the difference between a Mak, and a

Newt?

Using the 200mm should give you more detail (more resolving power)

Does with mine at least.

Have Ordered a Neomydium filter, and cheshire Collimator,-Spending the childrens inheritance whilst waiting for a good night!

Focus will be critical Chris, given the smaller FOV. I'd also invest in an illuminated reticle eyepiece for centreing the objects - saves hours of frustration

Thanks for that Daz, Illuminated Ret is next on my list, (Drift aligning and all that)any thoughts on this from E-Bay, or, should I go for the Orion ?
