M45 PLEADIES

Rushed out late tonight as the sky cleared , gone 12 i should be in bed , but wanted to try for this one no time for colour subs

this is 60 subs ranging from 45 to 2 mins ,

Great detail and loads of nebulosity in that.

No CC i used my Lum Filter ,as i have found using any other filter i dont get that amount of luminosity, i have always found this a hard target , funny really as others find it easy, but pretty happy with it , shant bother with colour , as its not one of my fav objects,

I imagine once you've photographed the horsehead and ring nebula etc, things like M45 just become plain old stars. I love M45 because it's about the most interesting thing to see through my scope!

Thanks for the nice comments guys , just to add this image was taken using a luminance filter only , its the first time i have managed to get as much detail , as for colour i may try and flash colour it as it is mainly blue reflection neb ,
