At Last - Clear skies!

Got my first Telescope from my very generous wife for Christmas, and have waited agonisingly sice for a chance to get out there and try it - last night was wonderful - saw the moon for the first time and dragged everyone out into the garden! Loved it ! Then found Jupiter and the moons - getting excited now - who cares if it's cold - it's bright!!

Welcome to SGL, I did the same as you, As soon I got my Telescope, Guess what I did. Took it out in my garden in daylight trying to point at a plane, Only saw it once after like a hour of trying to find a plane. Then nightfall came Wonderful views of the moon and Jupiter with 4 moons, I was amazed at what I saw.
