Yup, you probably jinxed it now

Always best to pretend you have no interest in going out or looking up, and then dash out when the clear sky comes. That way it takes it a little while to get its act together and cloud over again.

Lets hope we all get some clear skies this weekend. It will be nice to wipe the cobwebs of the scope and put it to use rather than just looking at it each time i go into the garage,lol.

"Good visibility"

"Dark and clear out tonight"

Just checked 7Timer! website ... now gone from 0 cloud to 2/8 cloud for tonight ... and there is still time for it to get worse ...

Weather forecast still holding.......just! Some patchy cloud forecast now.

Best not to look at Sat24 as you will realise what a tiny break in the weather this actually is.

7timer versus the met office. Anyone got a view which one they find more consistently accurate for cloud cover forecasting a day or more in advance?

Based on past experience, I find 7timer! to be fairly accurate. However, in the last 24 hours, its forecast for Poole has changed from 0/8 to 8/8 for 9-12 tonight. So guess it will be somewhere within that range!
