Dew problem

I often get a dew problem with my 8i but have generally overcome it with the use of a shield, however I am getting the dew inside the scope as well as outside. I think that this is caused by I use a Skylite Filter permanently installed to prevent dust entering the OTA. If I remove it the dew slowly dissapears. Any other ideas, has anyone else had this problem
