meade dsi gone funny!

hi all

i was taking image of moon when the laptop screen went black, i did reset but all i get now is black screen

with the outline of a black wobbly moon with green and blue pixels around it!

ive tryed it in the daytime but still the same, cant get any detail.

ive tryed dsi on my other laptop & pc but still not working, also swoped cables.

my friends dsi works ok on my laptop so i know its camera problem & not software or cables.

anyone got idea what to do? im will to send away to get fixed if it does'nt cost too much. (its over 1yr old so dealer wont fix it)

Don't know much about the inards of a DSI but

my place to start would be the cable.

Set it up in daylight and give the cable a good twisting around..

Sounds like an interuption to the video stream to be honest, as Phil says - try messing with the cable (but not too much!)
