Hi Claire

Bino's are great for atronomy. While I love looking through the BIG scopes that some of the other members of my Astronomy Society bring along to observing evenings I realy enjoy being able to arrive - setup my tripod and bino's in 5 min's and be looking at stuff while they are still unloading their kit - same at the end of the evening. I reckon I get about 1-2 hours extra viewing time. (not that I'm not looking forward to getting a scope one day once I have saved my pennies!:))
