24.5mm to 31.75mm eyepiece convertor

Hi all,

hope someone can help.

I have an old 60mm refractor that uses the small 24.5mm/ 0.965 inches eyepieces and was wondering if anyone knew of a cheap(ish) way to convert it to use 1 1/4 inch eyepieces?

The only solution I've found so far was a convertor that would end up costing about £26 and this was a little more than I wanted to spend as its just something I want to have a mess around with.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
