Moon & Clear Blue Sky 091206

Saw that the Moon was high in the West this morning so I got the scope & camera out.

Before I took any pics I spent some time viewing the terminator and it was good to see the light coming in froma different direction. (I usually observe the Moon in the evening)

I took a few pics using the 25mm plossl & then some close ups.

Here is the 1st few.

They look very jpeg'd on my screen but there is some wonderful detail along in the first two

I always struggle to get the moon imaged in daylight.

Must put my mind to it

The moon in daylight is tricky as the sky washes out the detail.
