Cracking Sunspot..

Just been out on the patio with the spotting scope and the Baader solar filter. There's a cracing sunspot up there at the moment.

Any one managed to image it??

I can't get my big stuff out as I have a 4 yr old and a 9 month old to keep from the expensive end of the house!! :shock:

I've seen news of impending solar flares but SOHO has no up to date images and neither does Space Weather. Can't get the PST out as the sun's behind the hill ATM, which is a nuisancce.
