M42 Quick look

Crikey! a break in the clouds and rain. Rushed out, set up, and snapped before it started raining again. Is this suposed to be a relaxing hobby ?

Anyway, please with the result. 3 subs @ 20 secs- 1600 iso .

You're getting more and more each time Robin This one looks very red which is odd for a DSLR which normally come out bluer.

Hi

That how it processed, I may be wrong but I believe the M42 is mostly red so is my pic a good or bad result. My past DSLRs have always shown a lot of blue but this one I used a 6.3 Focal Reducer which allowed me to give the subs a shorter time, therefore more exposure than my past efforts. maybe this is why it turned out red.

For some reason Robin it looks almost completely red. I shouldn't think there is much in the blue or green channel. Don't know why.
