Heads up for tonight!

The forecast is looking very clear, but brutally cold (-13 here). The moon wont be up until about 9pm either so there's time to grab some RGB frames

Fingers crossed it will be properly clear, and not that soupy, misty mess in the sky we've had the past couple of nights. Its been ok for observing, but rubbish for imaging.

Anyway, whatever youre up to this evening have a great Christmas.

Think I might be pushing my luck going out tonight or Christmas night. I ought to get another planetary scope then I won't feel obliged to stay out taking 10 and 15 minute narrow band subs all night.

Its turning out to be a cracking night, very clear for nearly the entire UK

Just settling in with a bottle of Southern Comfort to keep the cold out, ahhhh Cant wait until the the rosette clears the tree, ive got the ED80 out tonight for the first time in months.
