Telescope top of the Christmas list ?

Read somewhere today that the telescope is going to be a suprise hit for christmas, seem like all the astronomy programs and Brian cox and co have stimulated a lot of interest.

it actually looks as though Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be good and clear where I am so sales must be down in NW England!

There could be some disappointed people about as well - the sort of scopes they sell in Argos, high street Photo Dealers and many on E.Bay leave a lot to to be desired unfortunately

Yeah i read the telescope went up by 75% in one week at john lewis department store they say children studing the solar system at school have sent sales dead high the more stargazers the merrier i say i wish i learned more about the solar system when i was at school
