Hi, my name's Steve Baskerville. Like most people i've been into Astronomy for years but haven't done much about it. My wife bought me a Bresser Skylux NG a couple of years ago just to see how it went. It's a good scope and when I saw Jupiter you should have seen the grin on my face

This year she bought me a GCSE course in Astronomy for Christmas Feel like a kid. Now i've got to get me a better scope:icon_confused: I'm going for the Celestron Nextar 130 slt... i just hope I can get my DSLR to fit it

Welcome Steve, for imaging an Equatorial Mount is best and there is plenty of advice here on what to buy so get a sounding in Beginners Section.
