Total Lunar Eclipse

A very early start in 8 inches of snow, -8C and crystal clear skies allowing a fantastic view of the total lunar eclipse setting over Nigg Kirk.

Images were shot with a Pentax ist DL on an Astrotrac using 60 - 200mm zoom at f/8 with exposures of 3s to 6s and ISO-200 setting.

Still defrosting but well worth it!!
