Robofocus installation problem with Vista.

Recommended Posts

Hello all.

One of my trusty XP machines in the observatory has expired, and I now have to use a machine running 32 bit Vista. I've managed to get everything else to work, but can't get Robofocus to install.

I keep getting the error message.....

'An error occurred while registering the file

C/Windows/system32/SCRRUN.DLL'

I've tried installing with compatability mode set for XP SP2, but there's no difference.

I'm using the latest Robofocus software.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Cheers

Rob

Is there anyway you can install XP on it?

I hate Vista with a passion.

I might well do that after I get a new computer, but at the moment it's my main one and everything is on it.

TBH, in normal use, I've never had any issues with Vista other than the ridiculous amount of disc space the OS takes up.

Cheers

Rob
