Moon (6726-28-30) | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Now I think my focus is better, and whilst I could up the exposure, I like the moody look of our favourite orbiting buddy.

Now I am reasonably new to astronomy, but I swear the Moon has slightly rotated from last nights photo, I thought we always got the same view of the lunar surface!

Read up on libration

And yes, underexposure is usually preferable to overexposure, the "burning out" of highlights in an overexposed is an unpleasant effect.
