Horsehead & Flame - first crack

Hiya,

Im still out here at the mo, just having a nibble at the cone nebula though the moonlight isnt doing me any favours. Had to shift a ton of snow (made a snowman for the little one) and salt the steps but I wasnt going to miss this one!

Have just finished this quick stack of the HH and Flame nebula, I love this target. I wasnt able to get both of them in the same frame before but the FR is doing its job nicely

Cheers Olly I was a little worried about that. If i were using LRGB the diffraction spikes would have been a bit too much to handle. Hopefully I can add some colour the Ha data once the moon has gone.

Well done. Had a quick stab at that with a DSLR. Keeping Alnitak from looking supernova is too hard for me.
