I knew a guy who was very keen on Celtic myths and legends regarding astronomy. There are plenty of books out there available...if you look for them.

Sorry i cant be of more help, but the material you are looking for does exist.

P.S.~~~if i remember correctly the Celtic legend of the "Children of Lír" says that the Children were turned into swans and they flew into the sky and became the Pleiades.

The response I received:

"Nothing written at all, and nothing passed down in the Irish tradition.

There are plenty of books out there available...if you look for them.

Sorry if my previous response was misleading. I did not mean to imply there have not been any books written on the subject. I meant that there are no contemporary written sources from the time [like we have for other ancient civilisations].
