One of my missing messiers!

I waited patiently for it to appear out from behind a tree just above the garden fence. About 10 degress above the horizon. I have about 25 minutes before it passed behind my house.

A nice globular about 2 mins of arc accross visually. On the edge of resolution in to stars around the edge..

The big question is what is a globular doing on the outer edge of the galaxy!

So 2 more to go!

Well done Mark its good to grab this globular in Lepus especially at -24 Dec. What are the remaining 2 objects?

Well done, that's quite a small window of opportunity you needed to catch. IIRC, i read somewhere that all of the globulars are on the outer edges of the galaxy... something to do with the way the galaxy formed.
