EQ5 Dec Motor

Hi all,

My dec motor connector loom has taken a bash and the wires have become detached. Would anyone who has this mount let me know which order the wires are in so that I can resolder them - and then slap some strain relief on.

I've attached a photo to show what I mean.

I've got the dual RA/Dec motor set on my CG5. Mine has the same coloured wiring as yours, and the order is

Red - Yellow - Brown - Green from left to right in your picture.

It looks like your green wire is still attached, and it corresponds with the position of the green on my motor, but I can't absolutely guarantee that the wiring will be the same on yours, so try at your own risk, and don't come running to me if it explodes in a spectacular shower of sparks...

Yea that is the correct color sequence as in my mount

is it possable to geve me the mesurement of the loose gear that fits on the worm gear shaft for boath the de and RA as i think my hount is wrong

Mine are both around 27.16mm

Thanks for the feedback on the wiring - and no, I won't blame anyone but myself. I am going to solder it tomorrow evening and then cover it in epoxy so it doesn't pull apart again.
