using Stellarium to operate scope

hi,

having used Stellarium a few times i`ve recently been using it to control the scope, only problem i`m finding is that when i start up Stellarium having first started the scope the telescope target icon in Stellarium which shows where your scope is pointing is not pointing directly at Polaris but alittle to one side, does Stellarium take into account that true north is alittle off where Polaris is and is showing this when it`s started ?

anyone have any thoughts,

I don't use Stellarium to control my telescope but I would assume the starting position would be the North Celestial Pole and not Polaris.

There is a programme called Stellarium-Scope that acts as an interface between Stellarium and the mount. From memory you can use Ctrl 1 to slew, Ctrl 3 to sync and Ctrl 5 to cancel move?
