Few Moon close ups using 127 mak & spc900

Recommended Posts

Hi all thought i'd post a few close up Moon pics i got from lastnight ( 25-11-2010 ) using a Skymax 127 mak scope and an spc900 webcam . Seeing conditions was not too bad about 7/10 but the cold was eating away at me so i didn't spend too much time out .

Regards Alan

Hi Alan

Lovely shots...you have the same equipment as me, so it's always nice to see what others are getting. :) Did you use a x2 Barlow?

Hi Brian i used a 2x barlow which was inserted into a diagonal , i use wxastrocapture to capture the video registax for stacking and photoshop for finishing touches . Think all the images were only 1000 frames due to me wanting to get back in the house because of the cold lol .
