Last minute Lunt.

With not long to go before sundown I saw the delivery van winding up the hairpins to our village and dashed in to get the Telepod mount out. The Lunt LS60 was about to appear and duly did so with just enough time to catch some great surface details and fine prominences. All this while Helen was in full swing with her K line filter and DMK on the EM200. A very solar day! Within a few minutes Phoebus's fiery cart was setting through the trees but even that was a thrill with the blazing disc flashing through the black outlines of bare trunks and branches. So night and day astronomy comes to southern France.

The Lunt seems great at first glance but a proper look at and though it will have to wait till tomorrow. Tonight, Horsey!

One of the greatest feelings in the world is a delivery van pulling up outside your house when you know you have ordered something and the delivery date is due.

I suppose becoming a parent is a bit similar........................you know the date you put the order in and you know the delivery date.
