SyScan asks for My Time Zone -00:00?

Recommended Posts

What is my current time zone?

My SynScan asks for me to change the -00:00 or +00:00?

My coordinates (example) being 003 degrees 45' W 55 degrees 19' N

The manual says - for West & + for East.

Do this mean I am -001 degrees West. I don't know vwhether to enter -00:00 because we are out of daylight saving. Or do I enter +00:00. Which could be the correct one for me please.

After that the SynScan asks for my local time. I think I use my laptops 17:47 (UTC) Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London for this one. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Jamie :)

Timezone is 00:00

You are -1.66 or -1 40 Not sure if decimal or deg and min.

Your local time is whatever it is by your watch and DST is off.

You may be being asked to change the time zone as it possibly displays 00:00 as a default, I suspect that by entering 00:00 yourself is considered a change simply because you entered it. For some reason I have the idea that -00:00 is what you put in - just not sure why.
