The Flaming Star Nebula IC 405 DLSR

This nebula is beutifull this final image contains 4 hours worth of colour and 4 hour worth of HA data it has to be the most intense time processing tricky little [removed word].

any tips on how i can stop the stars bloating on the HA, would of been better if i could of taimed them a bit thanks for looking Ian

thanks all for your comments its on of those objects that you just take your time on and collect as much data as possible, olly the HA filter was a astronomik 12nm clip filter :)

Ooh very interesting, I've just been working on the same target. Nicely framed and processed. Are you sure it's the ha giving that's bloating. Ha stars are normally tight although some of the 13nm astronomic filters can give halos, but that doesn't appear to be a problem here with your 12nm clip filter.

Some nice star colour as well
