Jupiter & Uranus, Nov 13

A reasonable night so I had to have a go at imaging Jupiter ... the "boring side" was on display with neither the GRS nor the new SEB disturbance in view.




Here's a (rough, sorry) animation of three images made with the same equipment & Astronomik Planet Pro 742 IR pass filter:


And just for fun (no detail expected!) here's Uranus at the same scale.


2010 Nov 13, 2113 UT. CPC 1100, 1.5x barlow, Astronomik type 2c "L" filter (UV & IR block), DMK21. Dia 3.6", alt 33 deg.
